1、该灭火剂为低倍数泡沫灭火剂，适用于各种类型的低倍数泡沫产生器。是一种高效泡沫灭火剂，其特点是能够在非水溶性可燃、易燃液体表面形成一层抑制可燃液体蒸发的防护膜，灭火时具有泡沫和水膜的双重作用，灭火效率高、速度快，抗复燃性能和封闭性能好、抗污染性高、贮存期长。可以与干粉灭火剂联用灭火，也可采用液下喷射方法扑救油罐火灾。
2、广泛适用于油田、炼油厂、油库、码头、飞机场、船舶、石油罐卸区和加工区等重点防灾场所。
3、AFFF 6%与水的混合比为6：94，AFFF 3%与水的混合比为3：97，不受冻结和融化影响。
